MC - Maria Céline Qvigstad-Elvik - is a self taught artist based in Oslo. She is married and has one child.

She holds a law degree from the University of Oslo, but after an accident - and chronic illness - she had to carve out a new life. Art has been the rescue where she on “good bad days” draws/paints as pain therapy.

In addition to drawing/painting she finds great comfort being in the nature, listening to the quiet sounds around her and bringing her camera in search of the glimmers of every day beauty - flowers, trees, leaves, stones, water - Mother Earth in all her Glory.
