MC - Maria Céline Qvigstad-Elvik - is a self taught artist based in Oslo. She is married and has one child.
MC holds a law degree from the University of Oslo, but after an accident and subsequent chronic illness she was forced to carve out a new life. Art has been a respite where on the better of her bad days she draws and paints as pain therapy.
In addition to drawing, painting and writing poems, she finds great comfort being in the nature, listening to the quiet sounds around her and bringing her camera in search of inspiration from the glimmers of every day beauty - flowers, trees, leaves, stones, water - Mother Earth in all her Glory.
